Dan Wilson is part of the asset management team at Electricity North West and leads on the company’s asset information strategy and governance of corporate data. This remit covers both short-term tactical management of data requirements and the long-term strategy across data collection, storage, analysis and presentation to support the operation of the business. Alongside his primary role, Dan is also involved in the wider asset management strategy functions of the team. Prior to joining Electricity North West in April 2016, Dan was a Systems Engineering consultant primarily in the Defence and Nuclear Decommissioning sectors specialising in Requirements Engineering, Supportability and Human Factors. Dan graduated from Loughborough University in 2009 with a first class MEng(Hons) in Systems Engineering and is now a Chartered Engineer and also chairs the North West Group of the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
